Godzilla - King of the Monsters

This piece was for a group installation that all revolved around Godzilla. I grew up on a healthy amount of Power Rangers as a kid and absolutely loved the Zord vs Monster fights. I'm not sure what it was, but that love for a human dressed in a rubbery monster suit has stuck with me, even now in such a CGI age.

Really happy with how this one turned out, especially with the perspective on the cityscape! After visiting Japan and seeing all the electronic signage and sprawling cities, I really wanted to try to capture that feeling in a piece. Not to mention the amount of love Godzilla gets over there, from building size structures to still taller than me shop displays!
