Neon Genesis × Mobile Suit Gundam

As a big Evangelion fan and Gundam fan, I was stoked to find out that the newest Gundam series had a bunch of the old Eva team behind it, notably having Kazuya Tsurumaki as the director, who was the art director on Eva! The mech designs of Eva are like no other, so much more organic and gangly, which is something so rad to see brought over to Gundam 🔥

For this piece, I wanted to pay homage to the evangelion background, so I’ve transformed the classic End Of Evangelion poster with Rei, Asuka and Shinji, to the new Machu, Shuji and the classic RX-78-2 🤖
